CEREMED+™
AS Basic belongs to the elite software product group
CEREMED+™,
a software product for Health Care Management and
for professional Doctors. This software product can
be used for recording and managing ambulatory surgery
records and also can be used for maintaining other
surgery records. Though this software product is meant
for Same-Day surgery, it could also be used for recording
in-patient surgery records.
CEREMED+™
AS Basic OT makes it easy for surgeons and similar
professionals with helpful tools to enhance record
maintenance, analysis, and progressive report generation
by means of bundled features of this software product
is its bundled ICD-9 Codes for procedures package
and Image Creator tools.
ICD9
Code for procedures are in line with the specifications
and guidelines stipulated by World Health Organisation
(WHO).

The
Image Creator has advanced features and supporting tools
for storing and editing images of surgeries and procedures
captured through any electronic device. The user can also
draw sketches on the drawing screen, overlay images and
edit images as required.
The software product also has other text formatting features
for specified entry fields like diagnosis, instructions,
surgical remarks etc., where the user can enter details
in Rich-Text-Format (RTF).
All
these are bundled with user-friendly interfaces called front-end
screens, with minimum effort exerted by the user in creating,
editing, viewing and searching patient records.
The
range of solutions available under the OT Records Management
Solutions are:

AS Basic-OT
a. Surgery Record module with natal details(used only in
maternity cases).
b. ICD-9 Classification of Procedures.
c. Storing of images in the patient records.
d. Administration features like, back-up, retrieval, repair
of database.
e. Reports on patient records and other details.

AS Basic-Consultant
In addition to the features of 'AS Basic-OT', it has the
following:
a. Import of patient records from different location using
the same product.
b. Export of patient records from different location using
the same product.
This is a very useful feature for consultants who perform
surgery at different locations.

AS BasicPlus-OT
In addition to the features of 'AS Basic-OT', it has the
following:
a. Text-formatting features using RTF.
b. Image Creator tool for manipulating surgery images.
c. Template builder for storing recurring information.
d. Storing and viewing surgery videos.
e. Movie tutorial on using the product.
f. Quick search features for ICD-9 Procedure codes

In addition to the features of 'AS BasicPlus-OT', it has

a. Entry of anesthesia details
b. Visual display and record of anesthesia parameters like
Pulse rate, BP, etc.

General
features:
Administration
- Administration module facilitates the addition
of a new user and change of password (for access
to the application) at any point of time.
- As a part of the Security feature,

AS Basic gives administrator, the rights to create access
rights to various users to restrict read / write permissions
with respect to the available modules.
- Database utilities such as the cleaning and repair
of the database, creating a back-up copy of the
database and its restoration or retrieval when required.
- Addition of a new Anesthesia, Procedure, OT Type,
Category, etc.
- The list of ICD 9 Procedures available can be
viewed and or modified, if desired.
- Basic patient information such as the name, age,
gender, I.P.No., whether medico-legal or not and
Day-care patient or otherwise and so on.
- Pre-Diagnosis and Post-Diagnosis remarks/comments,
Operative Procedure, Timings of anesthesia, operation,
etc., details of OT personnel such as the Surgeon,
Anesthetic, Nurse, etc, OT name and Category can be entered
in the OT Record.
- Images or Pictures can be added and viewed by
zooming the images to the required size. A scratch
pad is provided wherein images can be drawn for analysis.
It is also possible to print images / pictures, if desired.
Reports
A
host of user-friendly reports such as the List of Anesthetists,
Emergency cases, Medico-legal cases and List of Nurses,
Surgeons are available along with Patient Record and option
to print images.
